These are the terms for using Find the Player. By using it you agree to them.

Who we are

Find the Player is run by [operator’s name and address to be confirmed]. You can reach us at hello@gamefinder.rivver.cc.

You must be 18 or over

The site connects people who haven’t met to play football in person. You must be 18 or over to have an account, and you confirm that when you sign up.

What the site does

The site introduces people, and that’s all. We don’t organise, run, supervise or check any game, player, team or venue. Games are arranged between the people involved.

What we don’t take responsibility for

We take no responsibility for:

• the games themselves, including whether they go ahead
• payments between you and an organiser or venue, which don’t go through us
• injuries, loss or damage at or on the way to a game
• venues, their pitches or their bookings
• what other users say or do

Nothing here takes away any rights you have by law that can’t be excluded.

Your part

• Tell the truth in your posts, and use your own first name and phone number.
• Turn up to games you’ve agreed to, pay your share, and cancel early if you can’t make it.
• Don’t use someone’s number for anything other than the game it was shared for.
• Don’t post spam, or anything abusive, threatening, fake or unlawful.
• Only claim a venue you really do represent.

Reliability

Organisers can mark players who don’t turn up. Three no-shows in 90 days stops you joining games for 30 days. We’ll email you to say why, and you can dispute it.

Reports and removal

We can remove posts and limit accounts that break these terms. Anyone can report a post or a player, and we look at reports by hand.

Closing your account

You can delete your account from your account page at any time. If you can’t, email us and we’ll do it.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will say so here. [Governing law, jurisdiction and notice period to be confirmed.]
